版《兵临城下》重现人类历史上战争规模最为巨大的苏德战争。

      　　故事背景是二战时著名的苏德战争。1944年苏军队展开全面反攻，纳粹德国为拖延战争进程，继续利用美英盟军尚未开辟第二战场的机会，在苏德边境地带，纳粹德国动员并部署了198个师另6个旅，共490.6万人，火炮和迫击炮约5.4万余门、坦克和强击火炮5400辆、飞机3000余架，企图伺机反扑。为了解纳粹的战争计划，弄清敌军兵力装备的集结及转运地点，苏军将一定的数量的优秀士兵组织成小分队派遗别到德军最前线，潜入敌后纵深孩御地带进行侦查。特拉夫金率领的小分队就是其中一支。他们历经艰险阻，最终不负众望，侦获了德军的战斗部署，并将其送回了苏军统帅部，为苏军对德战略性进攻作战及收复了全部领土奠定了至关重要的基础。然而士兵们也因此为祖国献出了年轻的生命……
