1614年德川家康主宰天下期间，两个长久以来处于敌对的忍者村落——伊贺与甲贺，为了维护和平，二方祖先便订立了约定，互不往来但定期比武决胜负。两个忍者村落的个别继承人胧(仲间由纪惠饰)与弦之介(小田切让饰)在偶然不知彼此身分之下相遇认识，进而坠入情网，但悲惨的宿命却正等候着他们两人。德川为了确实掌握政权，于是展开政治密谋，挑起两边村落间的冲突与对立，进而消灭对方的种族。两边分别各派出五名的忍者进行对战，十名忍者个个身怀绝技，更拥有特殊的超能力，将开始一场生死大对决，此时胧与弦之介将被迫成为敌人，两人必须背负起家族使命展开决斗……

【忍】（SHINOBI）是女主角仲间由纪惠的古装动作颠峰代表作，人气疯涨的她，是少数兼顾美貌与演技的人气女优，历年曾四度夺下日剧学院赏最佳女主角的殊荣，超人气的她今年除了日剧【极道鲜师2】在日本创下超高收视率，超越同档松?菜菜子、竹内结子两位人气女优的主演日剧外，最近更在朝日电视台主办的「艺人好感度调查」票选活动中，一举打败黑木瞳、松?菜菜子等劲敌夺冠，成为收视率与观众缘第一的首选女星，此外接下来还将出任2007年NHK的年度时代剧女主角，有此可见她人气指数之高，魅力无法挡。在【忍Shinobi】中，仲间由纪惠同样饰演身负重责大任的伊贺忍术掌门继承人胧，外表脱俗、清丽动人，看似柔弱却身怀绝技，一双美丽闪亮的双瞳就是她的致命武器，拥有所谓的「破幻之瞳」，当她施展电眼功力时，敌人就会因为受到震撼内脏破裂而亡。因为命运的捉弄，她爱上了向来就和自己忍者家族为世仇的甲贺家族的继承人，由小田切让所饰演的弦之介，二人爱的缠绵，却迫于现实不得不施展绝招展开对决，挑起了影迷的好奇心，到底武功高强的二个人争斗到最后会是谁赢呢？是否会有转机？让人不得不捏一把冷汗，也为他们可怜的遭遇掬一把同情泪！

【忍】（SHINOBI）是仲间由纪惠与小田切让继日剧【颜：超感应女警】搭档后，第二次携手合作的作品。日前电影记者见面会上，仲间由纪惠表示：「【忍】（SHINOBI）是部极为出色而精采的作品，我非常荣幸能够参与演出，片中一场从日出到日落沙丘变化莫测的美丽场面，如诗如画的优美画面让我深深着迷不已，相信不论是剧情或场景一定会让大家感动不已。」而男主角小田切让则谦虚表示：「尽管自己对于武打动作和恋爱戏都不太拿手，不过在自己不擅长的舞台上，通常更能够表现出不同于以往的一面，这是我对自己的要求。」尽管小田切让谦称自己对恋爱戏很头痛，不过以他之前与仲间由纪惠在【颜：超感应女警】中的化学反应来看，相信片中饰演在恋爱与使命中抉择的两位男女主角绝对有精采的火花。
