[color=]剧情简介：

[color=]　　约翰.卡特本是航空公司的保安人员，但没能保住妻子躲过劫匪的子弹。妻子的不幸死亡既使他痛苦，又令他沮丧。公司在配合联邦调查局押送劫机重犯时，故意安排已改任安全训练教师的卡特同机，怕的就是途中发生意外。果然，劫机犯同伙混上飞机杀了机长，欲驾机逃往别处。卡特果断将飞机汽油放掉，迫使飞机降落在路易斯安娜州一个小机场。当他向当地警方寻求支援时反被扣留。幸好联邦调查局探员及时赶到，将卡特送上已在跑道上开始滑行的飞机。在一场恶斗之后，卡特终于制服劫匪，再度让飞机安全降落。
