剧情介绍：
    本片的女主角是一名“种女”，她的母亲也是一名“种女”，上下二代为了几亩农田，都逼得出卖自己的身体替人家生小孩，而将人性、感情等抛诸脑后。但人毕竟不是动物，所以种女与富家子由欲开始，逐渐发展为情，再因情之失落而自杀告终，其间的过程和剧中人的心理转变，都有刻画得细致可信，是本片的成功之处。
    其实编剧宋吉汉和导演林权泽对一种不符人道的古老制度有着控诉。在制作上，表现了韩国电影的新水平。是一部可看的影片。
